Overview

MARCH 13, 2027

Kathy Mattea and Suzy Bogguss have each carved out careers in popular music with country chart hits spanning two decades. Suzy’s "Outbound Plane", "Aces", and "Someday Soon" are among the many songs beloved by country music fans around the world, as are "Where’ve You Been?", "455 Rocket", and "Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses" from Kathy’s deep well of material. Friends since their early days in Nashville, they had only found a few opportunities to collaborate musically, notably with "Teach Your Children", their Grammy®-nominated track from 1994’s "Red, Hot + Country" compilation. They have "threatened" for years, and their many fans have clamored for this pairing.

And now these recently-inducted Grand Ole Opry members join forces, with two careers worth of stories, more hits than they can fit, and a few surprises up their sleeves……..Kathy & Suzy are "Together At Last"!

About Kathy Mattea
Hailed by The Washington Post as "one of Nashville’s finest song interpreters," Kathy Mattea has enjoyed much success and acclaim during her 35-year career in Country, Bluegrass and Folk music, including 2 Grammy® wins, 4 CMA Awards, 4 #1 country singles, and five gold albums (plus a platinum Greatest Hits collection). Her latest album is "Pretty Bird", produced by her old friend, roots music wizard Tim O’Brien. The wide-ranging collection of songs chronicles a period of rededication to singing, digging back in with a vocal coach and emerging with a poignant and eclectic CD. In addition to creating and record-ing music and performing live on tour, Kathy is increasingly involved with public broadcasting, consulting and contributing on screen in Ken Burns’ 2019 documentary for PBS "Country Music", and recently replacing founder Larry Groce as the host of the long-running NPR show "Mountain Stage".

About Suzy Bogguss
Grammy Award®-winning and Platinum selling artist Suzy Bogguss is one to chase the muse wherever it may lead. She has covered Country, Western Swing, Jazz, Folk, Americana and Roots music with style and grace. Her live performance-which includes her hits and choice material from her critically acclaimed albums-has been lauded by fans, critics and buyers as "a show not to miss!" Suzy tours all over the world with her renowned players and continues to tour as part of the "Chicks With Hits" show with Pam Tillis and Terri Clark. In 2022, the debut of Together At Last, an acoustic show of hits with her very close friend Kathy Mattea, was well-received with sold out shows across the US and continues into 2023. Looking forward, a new album and cookbook are slated for Fall 2023. Suzy Bogguss truly is an artist that knows no boundaries and leaves everyone wondering what she’ll do next!
