Donor Privacy Policy



Ensuring the safety and security of donors’ private and personal information is a priority for Performing Arts Fort Worth (including PAFW references “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). This policy is intended to inform donors what personal information is collected and how it is used. Every effort is made to streamline Our donation process through a secure manner and safeguard your privacy when making donations through Our giving system.

Our practices are reviewed and updated periodically; therefore, donors are encouraged to view or request the Donor Privacy Policy in effect at the time you wish to make a gift. By using any of our websites, or communicating with Us by phone, mail or email, you are deemed to have assented and agreed to the policy in effect at the time of your use and donation.

PAFW collects payment information to process a donation, including

  • Contact information: name, organization, complete address, phone number, email address;
  • Payment information: credit card type and number, expiration date, card security code; and

  • Additional information you may wish to share: special notes pertaining to your gift, comments, suggestions, and questions.

All records of donations to PAFW shall be maintained by PAFW according to the applicable standards of record retention in effect at the time of donation and stored in a secure database.

PAFW does acknowledge donors by name in certain printed materials such as newsletters, performance programs and event programs, and on Our website. A donor wishing to view samples of these publications may request copies by contacting Our office. In addition, donors who prefer not to be acknowledged on any printed materials should notify Us.

PAFW does not copy, reproduce, publish, post, distribute, share, trade or  sell donors’ names, personal contact information or description of donor to any outside individual or business. Exceptions shall be those required by law. Use of donor information is limited to internal purposes of PAFW and only to further the mission and purposes of Our organization.

Accuracy of your personal information can be maintained by notifying us when there is a change in address, phone number or email address. If you wish to update your information or stop receiving communication from PAFW, contact Us by email or mail. Please include old and new contact information so accurate corrections can be made.
