The Children’s Education Program thanks all of the educators and students who joined us for performances during the 2022-2023 season. As always, Children’s Education Program student matinees are free of charge to attendees thanks to the continued support of generous patrons and donors.

This show is intended for middle and high school audiences.

Peter and the Wolf, a dramatic interpretation of Serge Prokofiev’s classic score, introduces second grade students to musical instruments and the art of ballet. This is a bilingual program performed by a professional storyteller in English and Spanish.

Once Upon a Tale, a bilingual program for first grade students, shares classic folktales, fables and fairy tales while serving as a supplemental learning tool for elementary school teachers.
Program run time: 35 minutes
More than one million children have experienced children’s education programs that include performances by acclaimed artists with exceptional arts organizations such as the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, The Cliburn, U.N.T. One O'Clock Lab Band, Stage West, and nationally recognized groups such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Imago Theatre, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Chanticleer, Cantus, and Aquila Theatre.
