Dive deep into Fort Worth's past with this compelling documentary film from Fort Worth filmmakers Adam Dietrich and Elliott Gilbert II.
This production was made possible by the efforts of many members of the Fort Worth community, including Dr. Jennifer G. Brooks and County Commissioner Roy Brooks, who played an instrumental role. The son of a physician and civil rights activist Dr. Marion Brooks, Commissioner Brooks has been working for the city of Fort Worth for 30 years. His wife, Dr. Jennifer G. Brooks, has a career stretching from elementary to higher education and beyond, having served as a principal in Fort Worth ISD and a teacher in the education department of TCU. She currently sits on the board of Performing Arts Fort Worth as Education Committee Chairperson.
