Founders Concert Theater
Inside Bass Performance Hall, there are many ornate details to explore. Look up into the Concert Hall dome, elaborately painted by local artists Stuart and Scott Gentling, to marvel at the Texas sky ringed by a circle of feathers. Visit the Mezzanine balcony to see Marton Varo’s signature angel sculptures on the building’s facade and take in the views of downtown Sundance Square. Downstairs in the Grand Salon restrooms, music notes decorate the walls featuring the score of Antonin Dvorak’s “New World Symphony.” Be sure to stop by the Bass Hall Gift Shop located in the Grand Lobby to purchase recordings and unique gifts that will help you commemorate your visit to Bass Performance Hall.
