Under the direction of Administrator - Executive Office, supports the President/Chief Executive Officer and the Vice President/Chief Financial Officer by providing administrative and organizational support with all aspects of general office management. Assists the Administrator-Executive Office with all areas of support for the board of directors and board committees. Serves as a point of contact for the general public, external clients, and staff.

Education, Skills & Experience Required . . .

  • Two to four years’ experience as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager; previous experience supporting President, Chief Executive Officer, Vice President, and/or Board of Directors preferred.

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Hold a valid Texas driver’s license.

  • Professional communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and customer service skills.

  • Experienced in meeting planning and coordination.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information and data.

  • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and execute a diversified workload.

  • Ability to work the occasional night or during a weekend..

The Hospitality Services Team . . .
  • Provides excellent customer service to all patrons and guests.

  • Verbally welcomes patrons to Bass Performance Hall.;

  • Maintains a pleasant and professional appearance at all times. Is neat and dressed in complete uniform as scheduled.

  • Runs safely and quickly to and from the parking lot to ensure promptness in parking and retrieving patron’s vehicles.

  • Observes safe driving practices and parks cars with concentrated attention.

  • Follows all Departmental and Company procedures and policies to ensure safe and secure operations at all time.

  • Responds positively and professionally to patron’s questions and/or complaints and ensures patron satisfaction within the established guidelines.

  • Each member of the team is a valued team player who sets high personal standards for performance and encourages others to do the same.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License; ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles, and maintain an impeccable driving record.

  • Must have current TABC Certificate or the ability to obtain certification quickly.

  • Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and some holidays; ability to work outside in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, hot and cold, in rain, sleet, snow, ice and wind.

  • Must be able to walk, run, climb stairs, stoop, crouch, reach, push / pull, load and move tables and chairs and other objects and lift 25 lbs. or more.

  • Must also be able to stand for long periods of time.
